Radio/Television Play-by-Play Announcer

Whether it's working the 2016 Rose Bowl as the sideline reporter for the Stanford Football radio network, calling play-by-play for 12 different sports (and counting!), or helping launch Pittsburgh's most successful all-sports radio station, my two decades of experience crosses all facets of sports television, radio, and more!

PAC-12 NETWORK; MARCH 2015-PRESENT

Currently in seventh year calling Pac-12 Network play-by-play for football, basketball, baseball, soccer, softball, lacrosse, and field hockey broadcasts. Assignments have included NCAA soccer tournament matches.

CARDINAL SPORTS NETWORK FROM LEARFIELD; JANUARY 2016-PRESENT

Serving as the fill-in sideline reporter for Stanford Football radio network broadcasts. Assignments have included the 2016 Rose Bowl. Also hosted halftime segments and conducted postgame interviews with Stanford head coach David Shaw.

STANFORD ATHLETICS; NOVEMBER 2017-PRESENT

Currently calling play-by-play for livestreams of Stanford baseball, soccer, softball, lacrosse, gymnastics, volleyball, swimming, and tennis.

LITTLE LEAGUE WORLD SERIES TOURNAMENTS ON ESPN; AUGUST 2018-PRESENT

Called play-by-play for the Little League Softball World Series (Portland, OR) and the Little League Intermediate World Series (Livermore, CA) on ESPN Plus in 2018 and 2019.

AFL ON ESPN; JULY 2015

Handled play-by-play for a national broadcast of the Arena Football League (Tampa Bay at Jacksonville) on ESPN.

ESPN3/PITT PANTHERS TELEVISION; APRIL 2013-MARCH 2014

Provided television play-by-play for University of Pittsburgh men's basketball, baseball, and softball broadcasts on ESPN3.

PITTSBURGH POWER ARENA FOOTBALL; MARCH 2011-JULY 2012

Performed television play-by-play for Pittsburgh Power broadcasts on WPCW-TV during the 2012 season. Served as the radio play-by-play voice of all Power broadcasts on KDKA-FM & KDKA-AM during the team's inaugural season in 2011. Established radio broadcast protocols and created & executed broadcast format.

SAN JOSE SABERCATS ARENA FOOTBALL; JANUARY-MAY 2005, MARCH 2007-AUGUST 2008

Provided color commentary for SaberCats radio broadcasts on KNBR-AM in San Francisco. Served as a fill-in play-by-play announcer in 2005.

KCBS-AM/FM, SAN FRANCISCO; AUGUST 2015-MARCH 2017

Wrote and anchored live sports updates on top-rated KCBS-AM/FM in San Francisco.

KGMZ-FM, SAN FRANCISCO; MARCH-NOVEMBER 2014

Hosted his own daily sports talk show and was KGMZ-FM's primary Oakland A's pregame/postgame host. All shows featured host opinions, guest interviews, and listener interaction. Grew the timeslot's ratings to 6th -- a new high -- among men 25-54 in the San Francisco market.

KDKA-FM, PITTSBURGH; FEBRUARY 2010-DECEMBER 2013

Hosted his own weekly sports talk show on KDKA-FM ("Sportsradio 93.7 The Fan") in Pittsburgh, featuring host opinions, guest interviews, and listeners interaction. Guests included various NFL players and reporters, MLB and NHL analysts, and other topical newsmakers.

"STANFORD DAILY UPDATE", CARDINAL SPORTS NETWORK FROM LEARFIELD; AUGUST 2008-APRIL 2011

Hosted, wrote, and produced Stanford Athletics' official three-minute update, heard daily on Cardinal flagship station KTRB-AM in San Francisco.

STANFORD PREGAME, POSTGAME, AND COACHES SHOWS; NOVEMBER 1997-MARCH 2004

Hosted & produced all Stanford football road pregame shows on Stanford Football radio network flagship station KTCT-AM in San Francisco (1999-2002), and all Stanford basketball pregame shows on KTCT (1997-2004). Hosted the popular "Stanford Postgame Wrapup" call-in show (2000-03) and all Stanford weekly coaches' shows (1999-2003).

PITT PANTHERS TELEVISION/THE COMCAST NETWORK; SEPTEMBER 2012-APRIL 2013

Served as pregame & postgame host for Pitt football, and postgame host for Pitt men's basketball on The Comcast Network.

Radio Producer

EXECUTIVE PRODUCER, KDKA-FM, PITTSBUGH; JANUARY 2010-DECEMBER 2013

Served as the Executive Producer of Sportsradio 93.7 The Fan. Hired, managed, and guided a staff of twelve producers and board operators. Set and adhered to staffing budgets. Assisted with all facets of the station's launch in February 2010. Developed and directed content for talk shows and specialty programming. Coordinated The Fan's Steelers coverage at Super Bowl XLV.

ESPN RADIO NETWORK, BRISTOL, CONNECTICUT; OCTOBER 2005-JANUARY 2010

Served as Producer of The Huddle on ESPN Radio, GameDay on ESPN Radio, and The NFL on ESPN Radio. Generated show topics and ideas, collaborated with talent, booked guests, produced bits and features, and explored ways of presenting topics in entertaining and informative packages.

KNBR/KTCT-AM, SAN FRANCISCO; SEPTEMBER 1997-SEPTEMBER 2005

Produced morning drive, midday, and afternoon drive sports talk shows. Booked guests, generated show ideas, and interacted with listeners.

Hosted each Stanford Football Pro Day broadcast on ESPN3 since 2017  •  Hosted national sports talk shows on SiriusXM Bleacher Report radio throughout 2015  •  Authored the popular "Clardy's Corner" weekly football commentary column on TheBootleg.com from 2002 to 2016  •  Hosted and produced "Inside The AFL", ESPN's official Arena Football League podcast from 2006 to 2008  •  Wrote AFL feature columns for ESPN.com for the 2008 season, and for ArenaFootball.com for the 2015 season  •  As a Stanford undergraduate, initiated the first live audio internet broadcasts of Cardinal sporting events and called play-by-play at the Liberty Bowl, Sun Bowl, and College World Series on KZSU Radio
